The Texas Asphalt Pavement Association is hosting a virtual education course for inspectors which we recommend as a great next step for Level 1B technicians.
This is not a certification course through the HMAC.
If you have completed your 1B certification, we encourage you to deepen your knowledge through this educational course. TXAPA’s Inspector Asphalt Education program will focus on TxDOT specifications and projects. At the end of the course, participants will better understand roles and responsibilities, as well as key aspects of production and construction necessary to provide proper inspection services for asphalt pavement projects.
